About Adnan Al Rajeev:

Adnan Al Rajeev is one of the most prominent TV drama and commercial director in Bangladesh. He is also a producer and scriptwriter. Despite having no interest in media industry, it turned into his passion. From his media house, he directed commercials for all major brands of the country.

Early Days of Adnan Al Rajeev:

Adnan Al Rajeev was born on 11th May 1987 in Tangail, Bangladesh. Later he moved into a boarding school of Darjeeling for education purposes. Later, he returned in 2003. Adnan came from a middle-class family. His father was an export-import businessman. Once, his father’s business came to a serious crisis. It caused drastically to fall in their financial status. Upon the suggestion of her sister, Adnan started to teach but students it did not work out as well.

Meeting Mostafa Sarwar Farooki and creating a new chapter:

While Adnan and his family members were going under financial crisis, he came to know the renowned director of Bangladesh, Mostafa Sarwar Farooki through his sister. Later, he started to work with him as assistant director. He did not have any prior knowledge about media. Initially, he started the work to have some monetary support. However, slowly it turned into his passion.

In 2004 at the age of 17, he started to work for Mostafa Sarwar as a member of the “Bhai-Brothers” group. Back then Adnan had no idea about the AD’s job in a production house. His first project to work for Mostafa was “69”, a popular TV drama serial. His first day’s income was 100 taka. It was the beginning for him to be one of the best in the industry.

First work:  

Adnan’s first project was “Bhoot Bole Kichu Nei”. It was a satire show. However, it did not telecast in any media due to the difference in the idea of visualization between him and TV channels. In 2009, he directed for the first time for a TV drama “Ucchotoro Podartho Biggan”. It aired in DESH TV. Meanwhile, in 2009 the first TV advertisement aired under his direction as well. The ad was on  ‘Western Union Money Transfer”.

Work-Life of  Adnan Al Rajeev:

It started initially from the group of Chabial of Mostafa Sarwar Farooki. Slowly he created his own legacy. He created TV commercials for Unilever, Orascom, Axiata, Telenor, Airtel, Samsung and many other top brands of the country. He also directed an Indian TV commercial for ICICI Bank Limited. Apart from this, he is quite active in the TV drama direction. @18: All-time dourer upor, Bikal Belar Pakhi, Parshoborti Prem Nibedon were some of the major TV dramas he directed. Adnan has his own production house, named “Run Out” Production house. After being a successful TV content and commercial director, Adnan has a dream to be a movie director. He aims to reach beyond the border.

Adnan Al Rajeev mentioned in several interviews that, how his works came from pure passion. It did not a matter whether it was commercial or drama, he was just happy to work behind the camera.

This popular media personality believes that patience is the ultimate key to success as a director. He mentioned that knowing how to tell stories to be a director.
